An explosive new trio featuring seasoned NZ musicians Joseph Anderson, Djordje Nikolic and Tom Scrase, People of the Sun draw inspiration from a rich palette of rock, soul, jazz and indigenous music. These disparate elements give rise to a powerful and dynamic new sound that evokes the landscapes of Aotearoa, as well as the shared experience of her Tangata. The band is making waves with their highly-charged live show and have recently recorded their self-titled debut album, mixed by Lee Prebble at The Surgery in Pōneke.
